Project Runway: Cowboy & Cowgirl Edition

This is a team Building Exercise that combines the frivolity of the “Bubba’s Backyard Midway™ Games” with the creativity challenge of the hit show, “Project Runway” and the laughter and show elements created from an episode of “Americas Next Top Model,” as performed by members of your own group.

Each team will receive a box of tools, materials, clothing and “bling” from which they will create two costumes: one for a cowgirl and one for a cowboy.

Simultaneous to the building of the costumes, crazy western themed games will be available in the room to allow teams to earn extra materials and tools to enhance their creations and to add some signature style to the costumes.

In order to insure a “team” approach to activities, several activities will be assignable within the group. These would including: a male head tailor for the female model’s clothing; a female head seamstress for the men’s clothing; an announcer to describe each of the team’s models when they walk across the runway; and individual competitors for the Bubba’s Backyard Midway games to acquire extra tools and bling.

Teams will be judged based upon success at the games, quality of men’s and women’s cowboy attire and quality of the model’s and spokesperson’s presentation of these cowboys and cowgirls to the whole group during the “Runway” judging.

Models will be judged based upon confidence, overall cowboy attire and how they “strut their inner cowboy” on stage.

Once the fashion show concludes, teams will be able to free play on the games until winners are announced. Following the show and announcements by about 30 minutes, a photo montage and music video of the team activities will be viewed by all.
