For those who grew up in these times, there was an inescapable excitement as bands from overseas began to change the way we viewed music forever. Throughout most of the 90s and beyond ’80′s music’ was largely ignored on the live music scene. Mr. Hand’s Revenge began as nothing more than a weekend hobby of a few friends getting together to play the songs of their youth. It was not long before the this weekend hobby would emerge as a six-piece party band, complete with fog machines, lights, and a high energy show that would captivate audiences all across the greater Houston area. With a desire to give audiences more than the typical classic rock and dance selections driven into the ground by bar bands and karaoke singers, Mr. Hand’s Revenge continues to bring the spirit and enthusiasm of the eighties with each show as they breath new life into the classics of early MTV and play many songs that few cover bands will touch – classics by bands like Duran Duran, Naked Eyes, ABC, Ah-ha, Madonna, The Cars, The Go-Gos, and many more.
